- Profile
-
I joined SCHARR in 2022 as a Research Associate in Statistics and am a member of SCHARR-TAG, an external assessment group supporting NICE technology appraisals. My work involves critically appraising the statistical methods used in NICE health technology assessment (HTA) submissions, as well as developing and conducting meta-analyses.
My research interests are centred around statistical methods for evidence synthesis and HTA. These include population-adjusted indirect comparisons, meta-analysis, diagnostic methods, survival analysis, Bayesian statistics, and social network analysis.
Before joining SCHARR, I spent six years researching social networks and graphical models as a statistician. This work provided me with a broad statistical foundation and experience across a wide range of methods, including Bayesian statistics, nonparametric methods, and optimisation.
I hold an NIHR Development and Skills Enhancement (DSE) award, which supports my work on developing statistical methods to strengthen evidence synthesis and decision-making in HTA.
